2025 Event Calendar

This year is packed with exciting and challenging events, from double-handed transatlantic crossings to intense solo competitions. each race brings new opportunities to push boundaries and grow as a sailor.

Throughout 2025, I’ll be competing in some of the most demanding events on the sailing calendar – including the iconic Transat Paprec, the fast-paced Tour Voile, the challenging Figamore Solo, and the legendary La Solitaire du Figaro. Each race is an opportunity to push my limits, refine my skills, and take another step toward new goals and bigger ambitions.

Solo Guy Cotten

Every year, the Société des Régates de Concarneau, supported by the Guy Cotten company, organises the Solo Guy Cotten, a race open to Figaro Bénéteau 3 yachts and a qualifier for the legendary Solitaire du Figaro and this year the Transat Paprec. I will be racing this double handed with Ollie Hill as my co-skipper, it will be our first race of the season and our time to trial the boat and preparation before the transatlantic crossing.

April 14 - May 12
Transat Paprec

The Transat Paprec is a biennial race from Concarneau, round La Palma and finishing in Saint-Barthélemy, Caribbean. The Transatlantic race covers 3890 miles, taking approximately 20 days to complete. The race is mixed double handed, my co-skipper for this race will be Ollie Hill. This is one of the two major races of the 2025 season, and will be a big test of mental and physical strength.

Tour Bretagne Voile

Brittany's famous double-handed regatta is a tour of the Brittany coast with several races included in one championship. I will be racing with Ollie Hill.

June 25 - July 13
Tour Voile

The Tour Voile is a tour of the France coast, across six race villages, incorporating a mix of inshore and offshore races between each. Each boat is fully crewed with four people creating an opportunity to increase participation in the class. I will be part of the RORC Griffin UK team.

July 29 - August 2
Figamore Solo

The Figaro is a 2-3 day race out of Lorient. This will be the first solo race of the season, testing me and the boat before the Solitaire du Figaro.

August 30 - September 28
La Solitaire du Figaro

La Solitaire du Figaro is an annual solo offshore sailing race founded in 1970. It consists of multiple stages, typically covering 1,500 to 2,000 nautical miles along the European coastline. The race is known for its challenging conditions, requiring sailors to navigate alone without outside assistance. Sleep deprivation is a major factor, with competitors often resting in short intervals. The event has a high level of competition, attracting top offshore sailors and serving as a key stepping stone to races like the Vendée Globe. Many past winners have gone on to achieve success in global ocean racing. This is my main solo championship race of the season

October 9 - October 12
Figaro Nationals

The Figaro national crewed race, a popular event with regular ocean racers, which for many years has enabled new entrants to take a 'trial run' on our one-designs, has been missing from the landscape. This will be raced with partners and members of the campaign.
